Amazing Ideas Inc started many years ago but not, as you might expect, releasing musical recordings. The company was formed by a Mr. Williams and Mr. Timiney with the intention to give benefit to their fellow man through the release of many innovative and imaginative inventions and services.

With the great success and achievement this brought these two gentlemen, it wasn't long before they sought expansion and new challenges. The direction that seemed immediately obvious was to provide an outlet for the newest and most original of musical artists. Amazing Ideas Inc Records was set up and bands flocked in their singles to be part of this exciting new label.

The first chaps to cross over our threshold and flatten the synthetic fibres of our welcome mat was those fresh faced youngsters Rit-C. They were quickly followed by the not quite so fresh faced and ever so slightly gloomy Jan Doyle Band.

Artist - Label discussions are frequent

The following years produced a flood of recordings showcasing the irregular talent that had been signed up. Then along came the mystery that was Klinikle. Tapes marked 'Klinikle' arriving through the door was a source of much puzzlement but also much musical enjoyment. Our catalogue of artists was already bulging at the seams but then another band joined the scene. From a very dark corner arose Defile, we were too scared to refuse them releases on the label so now we were four.

Most recently yet another new talent has been added to our repetoire. Self Constructed are the new fresh faced youngsters now that the identity challenged Rit-C have been through two traumatic line up and name changes. We will endeavour to use our experience to help the new boys in our own unique ways.

The ever continuing studio upgrades

Of course all the time we are upgrading our facilities for the recording of music but we don't limit ourselves to just music. Electronic Counter Measure (the band formerly known by two different names) are now producing visual albums for an altogether different experience.
