This is the news...

Nov 2002: Too Valuable to Risk is the name of the Latest Jan Doyle Band Album and is available now for the usual price. It features 13 CD audio tracks and 19 Mp3s of Out-takes for over 2 hours of playing time. However most of the tracks listed to listen to below are from the out-take section.

We're currently in the progress of recording a new album a few fantastic tracks from it can now be heard. Listen to them down below...

The current album Ultrabeliever is now available as a 16 track 74 minute CD. It's bloody good you know. Mp3s will soon be available. Probably. So watch this space.

Previous albums Swings And Contractors and Welcome To Jhenge are now also available as CDs. In fact all our albums are available on CD for £5 each and all have many songs on them. The lyrics to which can be found in our lyrics section.

Derek Anthony Williams

a.k.a.: Nire
dob: 14/6/76 (Gemini!)
What does he do?: Producer, mixer, some lyrics, lead guitar,bass, guitar, vocals, synths, programming, publicity and (rather infrequent) website maintenance.

Duncan Vaughan Kilian Timiney

a.k.a.: Zucchini
dob: 10/6/76 (Gemini!)
What does he do?: Lots of lyrics, bass guitar, synths, piano, some terrible vocals (in his own opinion but not anyone else's) , programming.

Alexander Owen James Timiney

a.k.a.: Curator
dob: Um I've forgotten. (Cancer though!)
What does he do?: Dreadful bass playing, some synth, some lyrics and excellent vocals.

Adam T. Jones

a.k.a.:Yogi
dob: Er.. I've never asked
What does he do?: A bit of keyboard playing a bit of producing some vocals with lyrical improvisation as well as writing and general hanging around with the band a lot. A welcome addition.

Kendrick Peter Curtis

Janine Marie Ward

a.k.a.: Ash
dob: 23/6/76 (Cancer!)
What does she do?: Not a great deal Sings a bit. Adored by Duncan.

Ron Hope

a.k.a.: Ron
dob:: 15/5/75 )Taurus!)
What does he do? Not a lot yet. Wrote some lyrics. May eventually sing.

Julie Thielen

a.k.a.:The Heroine
dob: 21/8/2076 (Goth!)
What does she do?: Writes some lyrics and plays a savage triangle. She is the other half of the DEFILE project

Susan (R.I.P.)

a.k.a.: Duncan's Amiga
dob: 1994
What did she do?: Did nice things using Octamed Soundstudio, and complained about having an external drive where her internal drive should be and being open all the time. Boasted a 540Mb hard drive and 030 25Mhz processor with 8MB fast ram. She died in October 1998 and kindly donated her organs to Gally who is Duncan's new Amiga. Currently requiring a new monitor.

Alice

a.k.a.: Derek's Amiga
dob: 1995
What does she do?: Does nice things using Octamed Soundstudio and a midi interface. Did all of the sequencing on Ultrabeliever. Boasts an 040 40Mhz processor, 1.4Gb hard drive, External 4x SCSI CD ROM, Nomai 680.RW SCSI 6x2x2 CD ReWriter printer and 56k Modem. Lately had a habit of crashing a lot. Has fallen in love with the QY-70 and has proposed marriage.

Sarah

a.k.a.: Derek's PC
dob: 2001
What does she do?:Crap things involving windows. A bit of hard disk recording. Quite useful for making copies of our cds and mp3s. Not much use for generally creating music. Has a 1GHz processor, 512mb ram and 80 gb of hard disk space (most of of it full with various nonsense). She did have some more but she blew it up. Has a habit of not powering off on shutdown. Burns copies of JDB CDs and records things in Realaudio and Wma format and plays games.
