Welcome to Jhenge Lyrics by the Jan Doyle Band
Well you've either got images turned off or you're waiting for an image to load. Either way you must agree it is quite a pain waiting for crap images to load eh? Be better off with just text I say. Except I don't.

Jessica

Her abscence hit me physical
A charge in the social change
Her dress on the floor
Still from and open shutter at midnight
Pitch black stains on the sheet
Jessica dissolved intolerably
She was so relaxed, so irradient
So keen to vanish entirely
Slung back at the bed
Protoplasmic chinks covered her mouth
silhouette fading with the touch and static in time
The impossibility of fading juices from every pore
She was warm to the warm from the streets
Head on the pillow beneath the shifting archway
Humidity chastised, seeping air, pungent memories Jessica the night so noisy, you cut your ears
Jessica the deaf, you turn off the morning
Jessica so fast, the light impossible to touch
She thrashes her fist to the wall
She takes a breath, I like to imagine
But she's echo reversed;
Too sharp for the neighbours

Renegade

A fist against the edge
Lost to a fight in time
Rebellious and fated
Left to fight in time

Saying he'll never be
Always saying so
Racing headlong forever
Never ever letting go

RENEGADE

Black through white
In harder times
Wasting away so long
Read between the lines

Swears he's so forever
He says he'll always be
Never fall or be broken
Carries the art of living

RENEGADE

Rachael/Smitty

Rachael never wants to leave the world
Rachael never wants to leave the world
Rachael sleeps then kills then sleeps
Rachael drinks her coffee and leaves
Smitty can't dance or fight or care
Smitty coughs and spits the air
Rachael sees him through sceptic eyes
Smitty sleeps then kills then dies

The Virus goes on
The bugs live on
The bugs live on
The bugs live on

No Recall, Always Agression
(Fragments)

Rachael: Where is this place?
Guipure: Are you Ilya?
R: Yeah. Guipure, I presume.
G: I was expecting someone beautiful, but you'll do.
R: So sorry I'm not blong haired and blue eyed.
G: You could have at least worn make up. Don't you ever wear lipstick?
R: Depends who I'm pretending to be.
G: And who are you pretending to be right now?
R: I'm pretending to be me.
G: Just pretending?
R: Just pretending.
G: Make up looks good. I like lipstick.
R: Wear some fucking lipstick then!
G: Where are you going?
R: I was expecting someone beautiful! You are from Anglade's, are you not?
G: Who'd Anglade
R: Oh great, so who are you then?
G: I'm the guipure. Who are you?
R: So you _are_ the sniffer then.
G: Hell no I'm from Anglade's.
R: I need to meet the sniffer, where is he?
G: I'm the sniffer.
R: So you are the guipure sniffer sent by Anglade?
G: Who's this Anglade?
G: A heavy peal of thunder came to waken me. Out of the stunning slumber that had bound me. Startling me up as though rude hands had shaken me. R: Shuttup.
G: Anglade told me you were rational!
R: I'm being rational, I'm going to kill you.

Tarbion: Yeah so you don't have to get so jumpy everytime someone clenches a fist. As for the lotus...
Rachael: Let's presume slight of hand for now.

Burchack: Why did you leave?
Why did you leave?
I had to come all this way.
Don't bother fighting.

Bring Down The Regency

People asleep, silent unaware
The people don't see
Controling and there
Here for you and me

They're glad you're all here
They're gald you're all here

Why do we not act against it all?
See them looking down
Let's rise up together make it fall
Stop them looking down

They're glad you're all here
They're glad you're all here

Destroy the Regency
Bring it all down
Destroy the Regency
Bring it down

Forgive And Caress

I maybe going
Don't mind
I fought the urge to undress and caress
Oh Burchack!
Don't mind?
I cut your chance to forgive and caress
HEY Burchack!
Get lost
I need your love like a tank in a barn
I'd break your pride like a whore
I'd castrate your virus dream
I maybe going
Don't mind
Oh Burchack!
Unwind
I'd be scraping logic from your better side
I'm a callous fool, planning your word
I'd carry
your heart
But there's agents trying to think up your fate
Hey Burchack!
Leave here
The islands and the ocean cutting your name
Your love smells of plastic and stain
I'd kiss you if you followed the sun
I maybe going
Got a friend
She fights the urge to undress and caress
Oh Burchack!
Don't mind
I need your love like a slit in the back
I'd break your pride like a whore

Prellen Vinwood

I'm sure there's someone there
Watching, waiting
Who or what or why or where
I don't know and I don't care
But I do know someone is over there
Watching, waiting

In the shadows, something lurking
Watching, waiting
Maybe I should fire a shot
So it drops dead on the spot
Cause a war and kill the lot
I don't know and I don't care
I been dead before
Where it was at first
Watching, waiting

It'll never leave
It'll never die

Start Of War

It's the start of war and we're all fighting
It's the start of war and they're all frightened
We're gonna rip up this city piece by piece
We're just gonna blow it up whatever it is

We don't care about the innocents
We don't care at all
We don't care about the consequence
We don't care at all

We didn't get exactly what we wanted
So we trashed and burned and now they're dead
Now we've extended our border on the map
A nice new line drawn there in black

We don't care about the innocents
We don't care at all
We don't care about the consequence
We don't care at all

So we've fought and killed and occupied
We've been victorius and many have died
So now we own this land, over it we rule
But all that's left is just a pile of rubble
We didn't care about the innocents
We didn't care at all
We didn't care about the consequence
We didn't care at all
We killed all those without a defence
Just to get our goal
We died and killed without any sense
Just to rule some rubble

Wanting The Intangiable

She Was So Cold
I thought I could warm her touch
But it followed
She was too concerned with looks

I gave my all
I reached out but she was ice
I nearly fell
But all she believed was her eyes

Who would know?
That she wouldn't be the one
I thought I knew
I thought she was so much fun

So where's the one?
The one that I see every night
She's just no-one
There's no-one here to share tonight

Just to hold her
Not just an intangible sprite
Make her real
Make her come to me tonight

Preaching

Start Again
Mind The Gap
Mind The Gap

Moses was a silly man
He went up a mountain one morning

"Lord! Do you have a message for the people down below?" he asked

And the Lord replied..

"Ummm..."

And before the lord could finish
Moses had run down the mountain and unto the masses and announced:

"The lord said 'Ummm..' !"

"From now on Ummm will be a holy word the penalty for using it will be death by stoning"

After a few years people grew tired of not being able to say "Ummmm.."
So they sent Moses back up the mountain.

"God?" He asked "Do you have anything else to say?"

The lord thought for a moment then said "Aha!".
Consequently, Moses being slightly stupid, he ran down the mountain and announced:

"The lord said 'Aha!'!"

From then on 'Aha!' became a holy word
People had marvelous ideas of not being able to say "Ah Ha! I've got it. Hence the word: 'Eureka!'."
The penalty for using 'umm' or 'aha' was death by stoning.

A few years later, (not too long obviously as people didn't live that long, about 40 years at most)
Moses was sent back up the mountain.

"People are tired of not being being able to said 'umm' or 'Aha'"

The lord said "Shut up, you ignorant fool. Idiot. Go away."

Moses was very pleased at this as people said "Shut up you ignorant fool. Idiot. Go away." to him every day.
Now the penalty for saying it would be death by stoning.

People were not pleased. They assumed Moses was lying.
Lying about a holy word is blasphemy. The penalty for which is death by stoning.

As they all hurled rocks at Moses, the lord decided that, for a comedy moment he would start a trend, and drop a grand piano on him.

How people laughed and they celebrated every year as grand pianos were dropped from high buildings onto stuffed models called Moses.
Children would go round asking "Penny for the Moses?" before dropping grand pianos on them.

That's a true story.

I Am Nire

I am the best there is
I am the only one
I am Nire
I'm entertainment at it's best

You might think that you can beat me
But you can't top what you see
I am Nire, you can't be
As great as me

I got a woman who loves me
She got me where I am today
You know you can't beat me
I am the one, I'm here to stay

You can't beat entertainment at it's best
With me around you just don't need the rest
You can't stop me, I'll put you to the test
You can't beat me at my best
I'm Nire

Over My Hero

You thought at the heart of it all
There is a warm place
But now you know it's not so
I got what I want now you fool
In all the time we were together
You didn't suspect
I used you, now you've nothing left

It's over my hero
you've lost it all
It's over my hero
I've made you fall
When I was under my hero
It didn't mean anything at all
It's over my hero
You stupid fool

Oh you thought I was such a dream
But that was all I was
I was just what you wanted of me
I was never really me
You poor thing
You gave me everything
And I take all I can

It's over my hero
you're so broken
You were under me my hero
All of the time
You're over my hero
and where are you now?
I've used you up
And now you're alone

How could you not see that I arranged it all?
You trust so easily
So blind to the truth that you followed me
I'm the winner here
As I always am
You're the one that's left behind

It's over my hero
goodbye my dear
It's all over my hero
Enjoy your newfound fear
You were all over my hero
Now you're nowhere near
Over, my hero
